Introduction: Dragon Head Puppet

I made a Dragon Head Puppet! Hope you enjoy making it!

Supplies

  • cardboard
  • paint
  • hot glue gun
  • paper
  • paper mache liquid
  • clear glass marbles
  • carpet padding
  • paint brushes
  • air dry clay (or baked)

Step 1: Skull

cut out these cardboard pieces in #1 and in #2. glue them as seen in #3

Step 2: Making It Work

use the brads as shown in #4. add rubber bands as seen in #5. Cut out more cardboard like #6. assemble as shown in #7.

Step 3: Add the Padding, Eyes, Horns, and Teeth

use paper to make the horns. attach to the back of the head. cut holes for the eyes slightly smaller than the marble. before you put it in, paint small dragon eyes at the back. glue in to the head. add teeth like #10, and add padding according to #9.

Step 4: Paper Mache, Fabric, and Paint

paper mache it and use tape for where the mache didn't stick. paint over it, either sew or hot glue the fabric as the neck, and you're done!
