Introduction: Kite
Hello, this is my instructable contest entry, it is a partially 3D-printed kite.

Step 1: Sketch
Cut divots in the wood. This must be done so that string can be wrapped around the perimeter of the flag, as well as to ensure that the flag of the kite has a place to rest upon.
Step 2: Sketch
String yarn tightly around the intersection point of the two pieces of wood to ensure that the kite is sturdy and will be kept together.
Step 3: Sketch
In the final step of our sketch, the flag of our kite will be placed onto the string and wood base.
Step 4: Design Handle
Design a handle for the kite's string to be wrapped around. The width of the bar where the string will be wrapped around is 70 grids long by 20 grids wide and both end circles will be 40 grids long by 7 grids wide.
Step 5: Assembly
Print out the handle designed in Fusion360 using a 3D printer. Then, construct the base of the kite, following the steps as instructed in the sketch. Additionally, it is advised that hot glue is applied to the two pieces of wood so that the kite stays together. After you've made the handle and the base of the kite, put the flag on top, apply tape connecting the flag and wood, and cover the kite with a garbage bag in order to protect the kite from harsh weather, such as rain. Apply tape to the top and bottom of the garbage bag so that the garbage bag does not come off. Wrap your string on the handle of the kite and let it fly.
