Introduction: Bublu : 3D Printed Bubble Maker

Hey, this is a 3D-printed Soap Bubble maker designed using Fusion 360 and 3D-printed using ender 3 V2 Neo. The design is very simple and doesn't require many components, and it is easy to assemble and use.

I am an undergrad at Deen Dayal Upadhaya college, Delhi university, India.

Supplies

Components Required :

  1. 1.5 inch duct fan
  2. N20 Motor
  3. 12 V power supply
  4. 3.3 V voltage regulator
  5. Insulated wires
  6. 4 x Bolts of diameter 3.75

Tools Required :

  1. 3D printer or can use any 3D printing service
  2. Superglue
  3. Soldering iron
  4. screwdriver

Step 1: 3D Designing and 3D Printing

All the Parts of this build were designed on Fusion 360 and then 3D printed on my printer at home. I printed every part in a different colour to make it more fun looking.

For the water holder part, make sure it is leakproof.

Step 2: Assembling

Assemble all the 3D printed parts as per the .step file provided above.

Previously, I was thinking of joining them using screws, but then I switched to superglue as it was much cleaner look but for the motor mounting I used 2 bots of diameter 3.75mm and the fan is also mounted using those bolts as shown in the images.

Lastly, connect the fan to 12v 1 amp power supply and the N20 motor to 3.3v to slow down its speed. You can create a small circuit to power both of them from one power supply.

Step 3: Final

Done!!!! Your soap bubble maker is complete.

For making soap water I used ordinary shampoo as it worked best for me.

NOTE : Water can get inside the fan or N20 motor, which may lead to rusting and harm your motor.

WARNING : Water on electronics can damage them and keep your wet hands away from AC supply.
