Introduction: Mini Humidifier

Cold air is dry air and as you warm it up its relative humidity decreases. During winter this is noticeable and can affect your breathing. You can control humidity using a humidifier. This simple project makes a humidifier designed to sit on a desk and humidify where it is needed - the immediate air you breath.

Supplies

Mist maker

Empty beer can

Step 1: Beer Can

Make a container to fill with water by removing the tab off an empty beer can. Do this by bending it back and forth. The mini humidify (Mist maker) will fit into this hole and be connected to a USB power source.

Step 2: Mist Maker

The mini humidifier is connected to a USB cable which will power it.

Step 3: Glue Mist Maker to Beer Can

Glue the circuit board of the humidifier to the empty beverage can using a hot glue gun.

Step 4: Add Water

Fill the can with water and place the humidifier stick in it.

Step 5: Humidify

Connect the USB cable to a power source and turn on with the switch found on the circuit board.

I have found I have been using this every day at work so that is a good indication that I find it beneficial.
