Introduction: Pinata Costume
Want a homemade costume that stands out? How about a pinata?
Step 1: Gather Supplies
Find and old dress and colored crepe paper.
Step 2: Glue Paper to Dress
Hot glue strips of crepe paper to dress. Only glue the top edge to the dress; you will be cutting/fraying the bottoms later. I used two layers for each paper strip. TIP: I would suggest getting a light fabric if you can. I had to quadruple the layers to make the colors pop.
Step 3: Keep Gluing
This can get tedious (especially if you do it in one sitting like I did) but it will be worth it.
Step 4: Cut Crepe Paper
Now to the fun part: creating the pinata look! Simply cut the paper in squares.
Step 5: Add a Headband and You're Done!
The headband is simply rolls of paper glued to a headband. It really completes the look I think!

This is super cute and creative! I'd recommend adding a finished picture right at the first so people know this is worth clicking on! :) Great job!
